This tour route offers a complete and enjoyable view of the city of Malaga. We start the visit in Marine Square, one of the central points of the city. We get to know the main urban areas of Malaga (Muelle Uno [Pier Number One shopping centre], the Paseo de los curas [Priests’ Passage] and Soho), going on from there to the three outstanding monuments in the city and its central area (the Cathedral, the Alcazaba or Citadel and the Roman theatre).
We will be visiting the most important squares in Malaga (Mercy Square and Constitution Square), in order to learn about their particular history. We will be walking down the most picturesque streets (Cister Street, Granada Street, St Augustine Street, Sanchez Pastor Street, Chinitas Passage and Larios Street), uncovering their secrets and legends.
We will also discover the most symbolic buildings, along with their anecdotes (the house where Picasso was born, El Pimpi Wine Cellars, the Customs House, etc.), ending with the traditional Shipyard Market.
Recommended for people with enough time to get a deeper knowledge of the history of Malaga.
