Do I need to reserve in advance? How do I do it?

Yes, through the reservations section on our webpage.
For last-minute reservations for the morning routes, reservations must be made by the day before and to reserve for the afternoon routes you have until 12 noon on the same day.

Are the tourist routes very demanding?

The Malaga City Centre Routes are planned so they can be done easily on foot. There are no long distances and the ground is flat.
But the routes around Ronda, Antequera and Frigiliana include some climbing up and down steep slopes, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Although it does not rain very frequently in Malaga and the weather is usually good, on the Malaga City Centre Routes, if it rains heavily, the tour will be cancelled and you will be offered the tour on another day. If there is drizzle or rainy intervals, it will not be cancelled, so please bring an umbrella or a raincoat.
The routes around Ronda, Antequera and Frigiliana cannot go ahead unless the weather is fine. If they have to be cancelled on account of bad weather, you will be offered another date or a refund of the total amount that you have paid.

Can I do the tour at a different time?

Since these are private tours, we try to adapt to your needs, as long as the tours are within the established timetable and do not interfere with other reservations. If you want to ask for any change, you can write to us at and we will reply as soon as possible.

Can I make alterations to the tour I have selected?

If you want to make a change to a tour, you can write to us at , and we will try to adapt to what you suggest. If a change is made to the tour, you may have pay a supplement in addition to the basic price.

What advantages do the private tours offer?

The main advantages lie in the friendly, personalised treatment our guide will offer you, as well as the fact that the tour is completely made-to-measure as your reservation is not mixed with that of other customers.

Do I have to give my telephone number?

Yes, as we may need to inform you of any last-minute changes that could arise. Also, if there were any delay to the time reserved, we would contact you on the telephone number that you have given us on the reservation form.

How do I arrange to meet the tour guide?

If you want to be picked up from your hotel or apartment, or can come directly to the starting point indicated for the tour you have chosen, you should make this clear in the section for commentaries on the reservation form and the guide will send you a confirmation. The confirmation of the place and time will be made either by e-mail or telephone.

Do the tours include tickets to the monuments?

On the tours around the towns of Ronda, Antequera and Frigiliana, the price DOES include all the tickets to visit the monuments.
The tours around Malaga city centre do NOT include the entry tickets to the monuments. If you want to go inside the Cathedral, the Alcazaba or the Roman theatre, you have to ask for this in advance at , bearing in mind that there will be a supplement to pay and that the visit depends upon the availability of the guide

Are credit cards or debit cards accepted?

Yes, the payment for the tours can be made directly through our website when you make the reservation

Terms and conditions

– The tours are reserved for a specific day and time, so it is the responsibility of the customer to be there on the day and at the time agreed in the reservation.
– If you arrive over 20 minutes late for the tour you have reserved, the tour will be cancelled and you will forfeit the full sum of the tour.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a reservation you can send an e-mail to and a cancellation can be made under the following conditions:

  • 100% reimbursable if you cancel at least seven days in advance (except for the commission charged for the receipt and the refund of the money).
  • 50% reimbursable if you cancel 3 days before the tour you have reserved.
– No refund with less than 3 days’ notice before the tour you have reserved.


If you want to change the date or the time of the route you have reserved, you can do so, as long as the change does not interfere with other reservations and you must request the change beforehand by e-mail.


If SECRET TOURS MALAGA needs to cancel a tour on account of the weather or other circumstances beyond our control:

  • You will be given the choice of changing the date of the tour or we will give you a 100% refund of what you paid when making the reservation.
  • If we refund the payment of the reservation, only this amount will be refunded, we do not accept responsibility for other costs deriving from the journey.

We don’t make routes on days:


  • City Center: 24, 25, 31 December 1,5,6 January. + (Holy week and Fair) and Sunday.


  • Ronda: 24, 25, 31 December 1,5,6 January. + (Holy week and Fair) and Sunday.


  • Antequera: 24, 25, 31 December 1,5,6 January. + (Holy week and Fair), Sunday and Monday whole year.


  • Frigiliana: 24, 25, 31 December 1,5,6 January. + (Holy week and Fair) and Sunday.
